EL SALTO is a co-production of the Sadlers Wells Theater in London, the Seville Flamenco Biennial and the Flamenco
Festival and is the result of three artistic residencies held between March and July 2019 in Nueva York, Miami,
London and Madrid, on the theme "gender in movement"
Show for closed spaces with the possibility of repeating for several days, brand new at the Lope de Vega Theater, at the Seville Flamenco Biennial, on September 11, lasting 90 minutes and the possibility of up to two daily shows. EL SALTO has already made a preview at the Auditorium of Torrox (Málaga) on February 22, 2020.
The show can be associated with the Intangible Heritage of Spain and International Women's Day, since the show arises from research on the question: Does dance movement have a gender? The performances may be accompanied by activities to disseminate Spanish dance and culture in various aspects: Open talk about Spanish dance and especially flamenco, open rehearsal with the presence of the public, and / or Flamenco Master Class (the latter activity paid separately ).
